Megatron hated humans with a passion— finding them best served underneath him —as in, flattered by his pedes. Their existence was insignificant to him, a literal being that had existed for millennia, and he hated that the Autobots had come to Earth of all places. There were so many other species and planets in this galaxy; all insignificant to him, but leagues better than the humans.
It’s why he’s infuriated with Starscream’s lack of sense after being given a human zoo. Apparently, it was some twisted idea of what the humans called a zoo, which is where they caged animals and put them on display for entertainment. These animals would live in captivity until death, and Megatron couldn’t think of a worse way to die.
Alas, it was too late to let the humans go now, as they had seen the inside of his base, and he didn’t want the Autobots to learn of his whereabouts, so the human zoo was promptly placed in his quarters. He occasionally watches them— the beings like ants to him —cowering in their corners and makeshift homes when he comes around.
It was amusing in a way.
Until he notices one particular human.
