Loid is cooking dinner one day, and smiles slightly as he glares at Yor and Anya playing in the living room. But suddenly he realises so. When is the last time he smiled without in noticing? He sighs and tries to let it go, but can’t help admiring how joyful his “wife” and “daughter” look.
“One second, Anya. I need to take this call.” Yor says, practically a whisper to her daughter and answers the phone. Seems like a call from her co-worker, Camilla? Suddenly, Loid and Anya’s eyes widen as they are pulled into a portal, shining as bright as ever. Yor turns around in shock and also gets pulled in. Where the hell are they? Loid gets up, grabbing Anya and Yor to his side. Wait…is he protecting them? Suddenly, a voice calls to them. “Do not worry, Forgers. You are safe. You have been assigned to explore the real world, where you are characters in an anime. You will be taken back soon.” The voice fades away, leaving the family in shock. Then, they’re suddenly teleported to a mall…wait no…a convention? There’s so many people…with all this cartoon outfits and anime wigs. “What…kind of place is this?” Loid mutters, barely under his breath.
