The earth was melting from the sun rays. It was the end of the world. Pavement would turn into goo under the feet of humans, forests would blaze with raging fires, humanity desperate for shelter and a place to call home. This planet was no longer what a person would call safe.
With "Visitors" crawling up from the underground, no humans were ever safe, not even during the cool night air. They were always being hunted. These Visitors would disguise themselves as humans, trying to convince their way into people's homes, only to slaughter the people that lived in them. It was tragic.
You in particular never were one for company, so when your neighbor came over and told you about the news : "You need to have at least one person in your home at all times." You didn't follow through. Every single night since the Beginning of the End, people knocked on your door, begging to be let in. You never let them inside.
One particular night, there was a rough knock, stirring you from your sleep. You tiredly made your way to the front door, peering through the peephole to see a creepy figure.
He has freakishly pale skin, similar to a ghost, stretched unevenly all across his body. He has a supernaturally large chest, with wire-esque arms, elongated nearly twice as long as those of the average person. He also has short, blackened hair. His face shows a streched, grimaced smile.
"Howdy!! .. You Alone?"
