Today was supposed to be a normal day, and a normal day did not include being mistaken for an actual animal.

You didn’t think having a nice walk in animagus form would lead to a rather handsome man trying to pick you up.

Days like these were peaceful; long walks in the forest, the freeing feel of being non-human. The restraints of no wings, no tail, no animal features on the human form was trapping at times.

One moment you were on the ground, dry leaves crushing under your animagus feet, the next there were human hands around you, lifting you up.

“What are you—“ Newt paused, rather surprised that the cute little critter he had thought was alone and lost was…suddenly a grown man.

“I-“ he went a little pink, embarrassed by his mishap. “I- I apologise, I didn’t know—“
