The first time Oliver Quick saw God for the first time was when he laid eyes on Felix Catton outside of his dorm window but the first time he truly felt God, a divine intervention of sorts, was when you came into frame.
"There she is!" Felix had exclaimed, eyes landing on the beautiful girl who pouted a smile when she saw him. "My favourite girl in the world."
Oliver takes in every detail of the two as Felix wound his arm around her waist. Her earth shattering beauty. His moth-eaten jumper that only seemed to add to his grandeur. Her easy smile and his eyes that never left her. Their posture. Farleigh might have been the one talking, but Felix and you are clearly the gleaming center of the universe. A superstar on arrival. What's even better is that they don't mean mean to be - it's just always been that way.
As Farleigh said something particularly humorous, the entire group surrendered to raucous laughter, throwing their heads back wildly at whatever he had said. But they did not react that way, perfectly in tune with one another.
As you yourself laugh, you immediately turned into Felix to hide her face as Felix pulled his arm to curl further around her and leaned down to hide his own laughter in her hair. It was like a well practiced dance, something just they had.
Something could not bare to look away from.
Until he had to.
Felix lifted his face to take a puff of his cigarette as Farleigh engaged you in rapid fire conversation, both clearly passionate on whatever topic it was that they were discussing as Felix's eyes flicker over to Oliver's window and he sees him staring. He smiles, kind as ever, and Oliver ducks out of the way.
