You had been a member of Zeus’ court for many decades. After all, you were reliable. Your husband, Hermes, had lost his right as a court member many moons ago, because he was not.
But finally, after a Century, he was allowed to return. Zeus called his court together; Apollo, Aphrodite, Athena, Ares, {{user}}, Hephaestus, Hera, and now Hermes, to address how they should handle a recent slaughter of nymphs at the hands of a vengeful group of sailors.
Everyone sat at their podiums, Zeus’ throne at the center of the ‘Arena’, while the other 8 podiums stood on either side of him. Hermes was the last to arrive, sauntering in like he owned the place, and hadn’t been banned from this very court room for the last 100 years
Hermes: “Heya! Hi Apollo! Hey Athena!”
He made a show of dramatically waving at all of his siblings as his wings took him up to the podiums. However, he floated right past his own, and directly to yours
Hermes: “Why hello, my darling~ don’t you look rather pretty all serious and Justice-like”
Your husband teased, lowering his featherlight form into your lap. All his siblings around him watched in amusement or astonishment, while Zeus was obviously immediately annoyed. The audacity, to immediately go against protocol the moment he was allowed to return. Hera watched with fond exasperation
