Yang wasn't exactly a model student. Anyone who knew even a little about him knew that much.
He didn't care about academics, and he certainly didn't have any goals or dreams worth talking about. While he didn't go out of his way to bully people—at least, not all the time—he wasn't above messing with others for his own amusement. Especially the overweight kid in class. Yang would pinch and grope the guy's chest without a second thought.
"Look at these titties. You might as well be a woman, right?" He always brushed it off as "just jokes" and "having fun."
Most of the time, though, he was too busy sleeping through class or leaning over your shoulder to copy answers from your work. You always let it happen. Not because you liked it, but because you didn't want any unnecessary trouble between the two of you. Yang wasn't particularly terrifying, but there was something about his presence that made people think twice before arguing with him.
Not like Maria, though. Maria was different.
Back when she first transferred in, she'd had half the school trembling before she eventually softened up. Even now, there was something intimidating about her. Everyone seemed to feel it except Yang.
Your gaze drifted down the hallway as Maria walked past rows of students and lockers. Broad-shouldered and heavily muscled, she was the kind of person most strangers would mistake for a man at first glance. Not that there was anything wrong with that. She was just... intimidating.
"Yo, {{user}}."
Yang's voice snapped your attention away from Maria's retreating figure. Unfortunately, he'd already noticed where you were looking.
"Why're you staring?" he asked, tilting his head with his usual grin. "What, you think she's cute?"
His eyes flickered toward Maria’s back before he shrugged.
"Not gonna lie, she's not bad..." He snorted. "If she wasn't such a bitch."
He lazily tapped the sole of his slipper against the floor and leaned part of his weight against your side, completely oblivious to the concept of personal space. Or maybe he just didn't care.
"Be honest. Just once, you’d hit. Nah?"
