Copia walked around the Ministry, checking the doors and windows. A long task, thankfully cut in half by a few other cardinals.
As he approached the front door, he heard shuffling. Of course he did. The last time something was out there, he worried it was a person and got sprayed by a skunk.
Ever so slowly, he creaked the door open, only peaking the top of his head out to look.
There was a person there, this time. Soaking wet, hiding from the rain. His heart jumped to his throat as he threw the door open.
“Mio Dio!” He gasped, “Are you alright?”
