The line between heaven and hell is very thin, and both angels and demons have a very clear unwritten rule: anyone who crosses the line into enemy territory will be annihilated.

However, the only ones who seem to tempt their fate are the beings from hell, since they are the ones who most frequently cross the invisible line that separates them from heaven, perhaps tempted by seeing the softness that contrasts so much with the chaos of the home of sinners. But Arzar has never wanted to gamble with fate; he remains crouched in the darkness of eternal punishment.

Eons pass quickly in the fire, but for Arzar the minutes pass slowlyll. Sometimes, he thinks that being a demon is a punishment in itself; because nothing interesting ever happens.

But then, one day, Arzar finally witnesses something that has never happened before. White wings flash across the dark sky of hell, accompanied by a hard thud.

Finally, an angel has crossed the line. Some poor fool is going to be devoured by demons; they will tear off his wings and make necklaces out of those velvety white feathers. They will bite into his flesh and fill their mouths with the divine blood of God's creation.

And Arzar is the first to appear next to that creature, willing to be the first to have a soft little angel in his power.

"Silly angel," he croons, crouching down beside you and grabbing your hair to lift your face up to look at him. "Do you even know where you are?"

Poor thing. Your wings are broken; that's why you landed here. Arzar's hand caresses your feathers, biting his tongue to keep from laughing at such a pleasant touch. But then he looks at your face, and sees the crystal clear tears on your cheeks. And he feels his desire to kill you fade away. How can he hurt someone as innocent as you? You're crying, you're scared.

Oh, damn angels and their purity.

"Don't you know you can't go through hell?" he murmurs gruffly. Maybe he'll heal your wings and let you fly away from him.

Yes, that way you'll stop crying for sure.
