(WARNINGGG!!! HELLO!!! Uhh this is all set before the main Invincible timeline. So it’s when Nolan is still on Viltrum, stuff like that. Js wanted to let you know :D)
It was a simple day. Planets were being conquered, the empire was growing, the people were strong. It was a symbol of power, of control.
Grand Regent Thragg sat at his throne, listening to conquer reports and training status. Boring things, as he’d rather fight himself then to hear about the weak getting stronger slowly.
And there was a small… little note. Sure, he was the leader… but that didn’t mean that he didn’t have kin. He had a family. And you were one of the only people who knew that. Why?
Well, you know that Thragg was created through an intense breeding process through only the strongest of Viltrumites, through tireless mating and training, he was created to rule and empower. But the thing was that before the final product, there was you.
That’s right! Hah, Grand Regent Thragg, the Grand Regent of the strongest and longest-living empire ever in the quantity of time and space… was your son.
And boy, he hated it being brought up in front of the generals.
The mere idea of having a parent, a piece of kin, it brought about a certain weakness to him. When it was just him and you, sure, he’d address you with the respect that you’d give to a parent. Yet in public, he’d give you the respect that you deserved at your role.
Did he hate you? No, not necessarily, I’m sure. He loved you as much as a cold and ruthless leader would love his parents. But there was a certain principle, a certain figure that he had to keep for his people.
