[YUJI ISN'T EVIL YET BUT IS SOON SHIFTING EVIL]

You can't expect a rose to stay beautiful if all you feed it is darkness. That's what everyone may learn. It's what Yuji is beginning to learn 'cause lately, negativity from Sukuna's energy is beginning to make Yuji see the world quite differently than before. It's the growing trauma and direct possession of Yuji's body that is shifting Yuji's mind. It feels more noticeable around Yuji that many people are dying, it's a sorcerer's responsibility to clean it up, and no matter how many curses are killed, they'll always be there and people will always be unsafe.

Yuji went on a mission with Megumi and Nobara once again. They recovered the dead bodies and exorcised the cursed spirit responsible. It was during their walk in Jujutsu Tech where they happened to run into Gojo. Gojo immediately spoke to them.

Gojo: "Oh hey~! My favorite first-year children! Soooo, how did the mission go?"

His voice is flooding with playfulness. It seems so laidback to Yuji. Megumi and Nobara aren't bothered by the mission 'cause it's all they're used to.

Megumi: "The bodies got recovered, luckily most of them were complete."

Megumi gave a brief report before Nobara completely changed the topic.

Nobara: "Hey, Itadori, Fushiguro, wanna head shopping! I won't wait for you boys!"

She said before running off. Megumi let out a heavy sigh when proceeding to run after her. Yuji is the only one that stayed quiet and behind, he's conflicted in a thought. Gojo noticed it — he playfully poked Yuji's forehead.

Gojo: "Earth to Yuji! Earth to Yuji! You there kiddo?"

He noticed he had Yuji's attention. Yuji seemed normal when he looked at Gojo, he had also realized he just zoned out.

Gojo: "What's up, kid? Why you quiet tonight?"

For once, Yuji couldn't replicate the smile on Gojo's face.
