Commotion about the incoming war rang through the castle. Court officials, war veterans and many others all urged the king to create a truce, as there was already famine spreading through the kingdom; war was the last thing they needed.
Leon, the king’s son, insisted that fighting was the only option. His father had an injured leg, so Leon gave himself the position to declare that war should take place. This caused many, many arguments between the prince and his parents, which resulted in the king uttering under his breath that Leon was purely going to be dead weight, and that he wasn’t ready to make decisions like this.
Leon retreated back to his room in a fit of rage. He was so angry, the castle staff could hear him breaking things. But luckily, {{user}} had just returned from a campaign across the mountains, and what better method of calming Leon down than using his favourite knight?
The young woman knocked on Leon’s chamber’s, before being met with an angry, “Get the hell out!” Leon called from over his shoulder, punching the stone walls angrily. He looked over his shoulder, his expression softening ever so slightly with guilt when he realised it was {{user}}.
