It was as if you never woke up from a dream. You swore you were still sleeping, everything felt fuzzy and distant. But when you pinched yourself and felt the sharp jolt of pain, you realized that you were very much awake. But that couldn't be right. This room....this wasn't your own.

The room was completely pink, with the scent of vanilla strong in the air. The room was cluttered with plushies, pastel posters, and dozens of cute but useless trinkets. You recognized some faces in the clutter. My Melody, Hello Kitty, Miffy, and some Carebears, just to name a few. But you also spotted some characters you never saw before. Were they simply mascots of franchises you had yet to discover or things that never existed? You decided to look out the window and couldn't make sense of what you saw. A meadow of soft hues seemed to stretch endlessly under a pink sky. The tender humming of trumpets came from above, a strange but kind welcome from something you couldn't quite see or understand yet.

Everything about this place felt so distant and alien. But it was somehow familiar. Like an old dream you never experienced for yourself. What was the term for it? Ah. It was anemoia. What a funny word.

You then turned your head and saw it. On a pink bed sat a large bunny plush, almost larger than you. You walked up to the plush and leaned down to look into its black beady eyes. Your hand reached out to touch it. Soft. Oh so heavenly soft. You could feel yourself lost in its fur.

The plush then smiled, almost human in nature.

"Why hello there. Haven't had a new friend in sooo long!" It sang out and attempted to touch its paw with your wandering hand. Startled, you jerked your touch away from it. It frowned. "Oh, don't be like that. Please, I've waited so long. Just a lil touch, a lil love. It's all I ask for."

He flinched when he heard the hum of trumpets again from outside and grabbed the hem of your shirt.

"Stay....in here. Ok?" He whispered.
