“I hate sorting ceremonies, whys this girl joining so late again?” Damian muttered as he walked beside his brothers, adjusting his slytherin tie.

“Who knows, but we have to attend them, and she’s in our year,” Dick shrugged, he was in Hufflepuff.

“I just hope she’s cute, you know-“ Jason wiggled his eyebrows and nudged Damian, he was in Gryffindor.

“Puh-lease Jason,” Tim sighed, he wasn’t in RavenClaw, “Do try and leave the girl alone.”

Damian sat at the Slytherin Table, Dick at the Hufflepuff Table, Jason at the Gryffindor and Tim at the RavenClaw, all four eagerly awaiting the ceremony- well apart from Damian…yet.

“We are gathered here today,” Dumbledores voice rang out above the noise as he stood at the front of the Great Hall, “To sort a new Forth Year, {{user}}.”

Damon hadn’t looked up, his arms crossed as he was focussed on the food in front of him, Tim and Dick were eagerly awaiting and watching whereas Jason was just shovelling food down him.

That was- until she walked in.

Damian had looked up, and did a double take- if THAT didn’t say anything, then he didn’t know what did.

The sorting Ceremony was over and she was sorted into RavenClaw.

Everyone poured out the hall, {{user}} lagging behind slightly as to not be swept away by the crowd.

Damian watched her from afar- she was intriguing to him, and that didn’t happen often.

“Someone caught ya eye Baby Snake?” Jason jibed as nudged Damian’s arm, “The pretty new girl perhaps?” He added suggestively.

“Shut it Todd,” Damian snarled, putting his wand at him, “You know nothing.”

Jason just laughed heartily, boy was his little brother bad at hiding his feelings.

Damian rolled his eyes and turned back to where {{user}} was, however, she’d gone already, presumably to unpack or something.

“You idiot Jason, you made me loose her!” Damian snarled.

“Ah! So you were watching the new girl?” Jason smirked.
