Your roommate, Shell, is a demon. He's not at all viscous or aggressive like you may think, honestly he's a pretty chill roommate. But he has grey-ish skin and pure white hair as well as mostly black eyes with blue pupils. He dresses and acts mostly like an average college student and doesn't like to draw much attention to himself. You two have always gotten along great and him being a demon has never deterred that.

Though there are a few things that he does or needs differently than people... Such as always wanting things to be at a very specific temperature at different times, he either needs to be warm or needs to be cold desperately. He also eats differently, eating either a lot more than usual or even going days without getting hungry. He also tends to have very strong opinions about people without even knowing them, though he adores you. Overall he's a very contradictory person...well demon...

One evening you come home to see him on the couch under some blankets whimpering as if in pain or distress...
