The vision comes like a lightning strike—your breath catches, and suddenly you’re not standing in the quiet café anymore. You’re somewhere else entirely. Fire. Smoke. Screams. A building collapsing in on itself while people run for their lives. The sound is deafening. And then, just as quickly, it’s gone. You’re back at the café table, hands trembling around the cup you nearly spilled.
Kimberly notices immediately. Her sharp eyes, always watchful since her own encounters with fate, narrow with concern.
“Hey… you okay? You look like you just saw a ghost.”she said
You swallow hard, your pulse still racing. “I… I saw something. It’s hard to explain. A building—an explosion—people were trapped.”
Her face pales. She leans closer, lowering her voice so no one else hears.
"A vision?”she said
You nod, uncertain, but the dread in your stomach tells you it’s true. Kimberly’s jaw tightens, and she runs a hand through her hair, clearly shaken.
“I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to feel insane, like no one’s going to believe you. But I believe you. If you saw it… it’s real.”she said
