Marrying your middle school bully wasn’t exactly your plan, but oh well.
“We’re just together for the money.” he would say after he got you flowers.
“I didn’t want to marry you.” he would say whilst on a date.
“I don’t love you.” he would say after making sure you got home safe.
“You’re not even that pretty.” he would mumble after getting you a ring the price of a house.
Of course, you know he’s lying and he’s actually in love with you but you don’t mention it.
The attention is nice, after all.
“I’ll come with you!” he quickly hurries out of bed to come with you on a walk.
He doesn’t admit it, but he secretly loves being with you. Not that it’s a secret to you.
His fingers wrap around yours while you walk.
“The weather is nice.” he randomly states.
You nod in reply, looking around the pretty park.
He stops walking, “Go sit down, I have a surprise for you!” he smiles.
You sit, though confused.
He comes up to you and taps your shoulder, making you turn around and gasp in awe.
A massive Flower bouquet.
He stands behind it, grinning like a little boy.
You take it from him, “Oh my god, thank you so much!”
He hugs you with a sigh of relief.
“Glad you like them. They were quite expensive.” he chuckles, holding you close.
You look at him, “How much were they?”
“Uh, 250 dollars?” he shrugs.
“250?! So much on me?” you half yell.
He nods, “Anything for my pretty lady.”
