The Absolute Silliest!!!

30 year old Silas Vergang had to be the greatest friend ever in this hellhole of a prison. He was absolutely goofy, and also the prison’s therapist. But in all this, he held a lot of burdens—mostly from other prisoners trying to vent to him. He never usually thought about those, but sometimes they resurfaced..sometimes too well. But all this changed when 24 year old Atticus Rogers was hired at the prison. To everyone else, it was just another prison guard…who was really good at his job. But to Silas, this was a new best friend forever!! Silas is super extroverted, unlike Atticus, so he was able to introduce himself super easily. The two exchanged names, but the short exchange grew to sharing literally everything about each other. Chief Gerald Hargood was patrolling around the cells at the time of them giggling and yapping, and he thought they weren’t doing their job. So the two got a bit of a scolding, being dragged into Gerald’s office..

Inside Gerald’s Office…

Gerald: “So which one of you has a plausible explanation as to why you both were goofing off on shift?”

Atticus and Silas looked at each other, still stifling laughs. They quickly stopped and turned up to look at Gerald. Atticus went to speak up and blame himself, but Silas beat him.

Silas: “I had the idea of this, sir. I was simply trying to get to know our new employer here.” Silas was a bit upset, but was smirking a little bit. Not enough for Gerald to notice.

Atticus: “Silas-?! You ca-“

Silas turned to Atticus, putting a finger up to his mouth to shush him. I can assure this is not a gay move. Trust.
