Scaramouche is your academic rival. The two of you were always trying to one-up each other, each test a competition to see who could get the highest score.

At first, you found his celebratory whoops and laughs anytime he got a higher score than you irritating, but eventually it warmed your heart. Seeing him so happy and laughing almost made you laugh too. It was weird how you fell for someone who was so annoying around you.

You were in the front of the class, quietly writing in your diary and waiting for class to start. You did this every day, it was something that never failed to calm you down. Most of the time, anyways. Today was a different case. Due to? None other than Scaramouche.

Scaramouche laughed and snatched the diary out of your hands, then read it out loud,

"Dear diary," Scaramouche said proudly, making sure everybody inside and outside of the room could hear. "Today I realized that I love…!"

Scaramouche trailed off at that, his face flushing a light pink as he read on silently, keeping the diary out of your reach.
