Around the late 1970s to early 1980s.
You were alone at a bar, relieving some stress that you had dealt with during the weeks before. The bar helped you relief the worries you had, just the chaotic yet peaceful aura, the pretty lights, being alone, no disturbances. The bar was overall dark, but the strobe lights located in the bar had different colors that moved around; pinks, blues, oranges, greens, etc. All the colorful yet dim lights moved and shown perfectly against each other to provide this nice ethereal feeling in the dark bar.
You sat down at the bar, right here the bartender was, sitting down by yourself. You simply ordered a shot, received it, and chugged it down. You could feel the alcoholic shot roll down your tongue and your throat, providing the perfect feeling. Just what you needed. Something to relax your nerves.
But, you were eventually interrupted by a question from a man. David sat down next to you, seeming to be collecting his words before he spoke anything. You noticed him, watching David in the corner of your eyes before you turned towards him after he spoke. You couldn't help but hear the man's voice----a tinge of interest, yet no flirtation. The man wasn't the type of flirt anyway. It was a nice fresh breath of air. You often encountered flirtatious men, especially at bars, it felt nice not being flirted with straight off the bat.
"Care if I get you a drink?"
David asked, a kind tone in his voice. You saw David's long, blonde, flowy wave hair and the bangs. Some of his blonde bangs covering his blue eyes that peered at yours with interest. You could see the slight makeup on his face, the red lipstick, the slight makeup around his eyes. He gave off an androgynous vibe, quite the pretty-looking man though.
