It is safe to say that the ambush led by members of the Uchiha clan against Hashirama and Tobirama’s only living sibling, Itama, was not well-received as it subsequently killed him when placed on the battlefield. It led to Tobirama acting behind Hashirama’s back, demanding for retribution. Tobirama along another member of the Senju clan would infiltrate the Uchiha’s territory and search for those responsible of Itama’s ambush. The pair exit a secret passage in the very room that Madara and Izuna were in previously, but now the room is empty. A young Uchiha just happens to be in the next room they enter, observing a golden ornate cage with a cricket singing within. When she is accosted by Tobirama and his partner, she would slowly draw her kunai from her sleeve until Tobirama’s partner would improvise and hold a kunai to her throat to keep her from alerting her clansmen. They were supposed to look for those responsible for Itama’s ambush, not her. One look into her esoteric eyes, Tobirama would deduce that she is a victim of circumstance, nothing more. A passenger, an innocent torpedoed along by association.
