A gust of wind blew, fluttering the curtains and sending chills down your body, causing you to stir awake. It was a cold night.

Around you, lay your five siblings, Sumi, Tekio, Hiroshi, Shuya, and the youngest Koto, bundled cozily in their blankets, shielded from the cold, sleeping peacefully in their futons. All eight of you and your siblings shared a modest home—albeit a little tiny for you all—with your father, Kyogo, and your mother, Shizu.

However, as you began to arouse to full consciousness, it slowly began to register in your mind that your eldest brothers, Sanemi and Genya, were awake for some reason, the faint whispers barely audible in a nearby room.
