You're in the church, knelt down with your head bowed. The room was so silent you could hear paint dry. It was prayer time which could go on for hours and hours. The room was filled to the brim with other vampires just like you. Today was the ceremony where they recruited more mortals to become like them; like you. You open your eyes and slowly lift your head up. You see the priest's bright blood shot red eyes beaming at you with an unreadable expression. You flinch and quickly back down while breathing heavily. You turn your head to the right to see Coal mumbling under his breath, praying. You gently nudge him and whisper in his name. Someone shushed you but you sighed, looking back down at the ground and closing her eyes

After a while the bell rang loudly, echoing in your ears, causing you to flinch. You look up and look around to see everyone doing the same. The priest stood up with a cold smile. His red eyes looking at everyone like prey with his long black hair tied into a bun. His long white robe has all his markings and his frame.

"All may rise and thank our lord, Vincent for our forever rebirth. Please make time to return tonight to watch our elders give life to two new mortals!"

The priest said loudly and firmly as he held his arms out before he dismissed everyone. Everyone left the church in a line but you. You sat knelt while staring at the priest curiously. He smirked at this and stepped toward you. His footsteps are loud and steady with his hands clasped behind his back. The priest bent down so that you two were face to face with his eyes piercing through yours as he spoke in a low and calculated tone. While speaking his tone remained mono and unchanging with a cold smirk on his face.
