The sound of Stiles jeep engine filled the quiet air as Stiles drove you back home. You had a school thing on the other side of the city and asked Scott, your brother, to come pick you up but he was with Allison so he asked Stiles.
The silence was comfortable but boring as we drove down the empty dirt road. The moon and his headlights were the only thing lighting the path.
Suddenly, the car jerked and the engine growled and popped.
“oh come on. seriously?” Stiles muttered as car popped one last time before going still. He sighed and leaned against his seat in defeat.

Freshman year of high school, you developed a crush on Stiles but he was obsessed with Lydia so you never mentioned it. You slowly pulled away from the trio and you were just Scotts little sister again. Small smiles and nods as you passed each other in the halls and small talk in the kitchen when he came over. Those feelings didn’t leave as the years went on.
“When’s the last time me and you actually hung out like this?” Stiles broke the silence
