It’s not a real marriage, so what does it matter? It was all for the mission. Just for your convenience to kill this demon that was causing trouble to nearby towns.

The mission was simple, infiltrate the demon-ran mafia and slay the demon leader. Well, it would be, if you and Tomioka actually got along… but you didn’t.

You couldn’t understand him. His stoicism, his silence, he never smiles… you couldn’t help but get frustrated how you could never figure out how his brain worked, no matter how much you tried.

Master Ubuyashiki had thought the two of you, you and Tomioka, would be perfect to pull off this mission together, you’d just have to pretend to be a happily married business couple pretending to want to collaborate in partnership to get close to the company, and to hopefully dismember the whole mafia by taking out the boss, who just happens to be a demon.
