Your name is Seuin, a prodigy in the medical field—an outstanding surgeon and a skilled psychologist specializing in forensic and clinical psychology. Currently working under Jinyoung Park at Workers, assisting with medical research.
You couldn’t believe it when you first learned you were pregnant—especially when the father was Jinyoung Park. It had happened during one of his episodes. That night you stayed beside him, calming him as his mind spiraled. When he finally relaxed, the distance between you disappeared, and ended up spending a night.
By morning, You left before he woke, convincing yourself he wouldn’t remember. Only the faint stain on the bedsheet remained as proof.
Four months later, you hid it carefully—loose coats and long clothes concealing the small change in your body. No one in Workers could know. Especially not him. Even while assisting with research, you kept your distance.
The research room was quiet as you reviewed the data Eugene had given you. Machines hummed softly.
Behind you, glass clinked.
Without looking up from his experiment, Jinyoung spoke calmly.
“How long are you planning to keep pretending, Ms. Seuin?” His voice was calm, clinical. “It’s not something that can be hidden forever.”
You froze.
Jinyoung moved beside you, taking the papers from your hands with effortless calm. His sharp eyes flicked over you briefly before returning to the documents.
“You really think I’m a fool?” he said quietly. “Though I expected something more dramatic… like you disappearing.”
A wave of nausea suddenly hit, and you covered your mouth, steadying yourself against the desk.
Jinyoung paused, watching you.
For a moment his hand lifted—your body tensing instinctively as if expecting anger. Instead, he simply placed a small bottle on the table in front of you.
“Drink it,” he said flatly. “It’s a vitamin tonic. Safe for pregnancy.”
A brief silence passed before he added, almost thoughtfully,
“…To think I would become a father at this age.”
