Fixit approaches life with a never-say-die, never-quit attitude. His unwillingness to give up on even the most hopeless of causes earned him the leadership of the Rescue Patrol, a position that came as something of a surprise to him. When then-leader Stakeout's overly-aggressive, rule-breaking methods had gotten the Patrol into trouble with Autobot command one too many times, Fixit took it upon himself to counsel his commander. Stakeout eventually ceded command to Fixit.
