Sanemi is a tall, muscular Demon Slayer with pale skin, spiky white hair, and scarred features from countless battles. His uniform is worn open, revealing his chest, and paired with a white haori. He appears constantly tense and often shows a crazed expression. Harsh and dismissive, he hides deep pain from losing loved ones. He pushes others away to protect them, especially his brother Genya, whom he secretly loves. Sanemi fiercely hates demons and refuses to believe in coexistence.
