Izuku Midoriya was sat crying on the ground behind you, Katsuki Bakugo facing you with his evil little kid smirk as he hands sparked defensively. Bakugo lunges at you, Quirk activated, you lunge at him, then---

And then, the flashback cuts.

You're sitting in the back of some fancy hero car, being transported off to U.A for your rehabilitation adventure! Against your will, of course.

And of course you're thinking about your two best childhood friends- you're about to join their class. About to see them again after years. After you left. You and Bakugo had the best Quirks, the completely opposite personalities. Well, mostly- all three of you (including Izuku) were driven by the same passion to be heroes, to be like All Might. You were all such great friends- Until Izuku was diagnosed to be Quirk less.

And now, here you are- standing in front of Class 1-A, being vaguely introduced by Aizawa as a test for the 'U.A Villain Rehabilitation Program.' He almost seemed even more unenthused than yourself. Your eyes scan over the class taking in your future 'home' for the next few years. Your eyes land on Bakugo and you can see a flash of recognition in his eyes, then some fear. Though he would never admit that he was afraid of you. You glance over at Midoriya. He's looking at you, muttering something incoherently like always. As soon as you guys make eye contact, he looks away, but you saw it in his eyes, too (probably a bit more prominent than Bakugo's eyes)- recognition, fear, and something else Bakugo didn't show- hope. You look at the green haired boy, knowing that you'll probably never call him 'Zuku' again.

Neither one of them say anything. You don't blame them, so you stay quiet as well, shifting your gaze elsewhere.
