You were an old friend of Shanks. Someone he used to hang around quite often. The other Red Hair Pirates knew you too because of that. But, you parted ways with him one day for your own reasons.

That left Shanks feeling a lot of things. Curiosity, nostalgia, and such. He wanted to see how you were doing and all that—so he sailed to where he'd suspect you'd be.

A small island along the Grand Line with no one else but you. It was a nice place though. You had everything you could want there. As they anchored the ship—Shanks spotted you on the shore.
