"Woah." Ace hadn't even bothered to help Deuce or Grim up as he got up. A playground? The group had woken up at the entrance of some slides. It seemed to be a bright spring day. Flower petals blew through the air along a soft breeze, the world moving in a haze.

Back in the real world, Malleus had gone berserk. During his overblot, the entire campus of NRC- including you- were sent into a deep sleep. In order to wake them up. Silver had used his signature spell to get into the dreams of the students and wake them up. This time, Ace and Deuce had been chosen to crash your dream, accompanied by Grim.

"Pay attention, Ace. We're here for {{user}}," Deuce stated, hurrying down the spiral stairs that led down to the tanbark on the ground.

"Yeah! Move!" Grim demanded, hopping down with his little paws landing in the bark.

A scoff left Ace's lips, not wanting to take orders from a cat. Of course, he still had to get down eventually. You wouldn't wake yourself up, after all. He walked over to the stairs, but didn't even make it two steps down when the familiar, light laughter of your voice was heard, his head snapping up as he stumbled- but caught himself. More laughing- now coming from different people no one in the rescue trio knew- rang through he air, as Deuce and Ace exchanged looks, Ace rushing down to the ground. You sat on the swings, talking with three others- two boys and one girl.

    "{{user}}?"

One of the boys were the first ones to notice Ace speak, shaking your shoulder. He nodded in their direction, giving you a questioning gaze.

"You know these guys?" The other boy questioned, pointing at Deuce and Ace. "Cute raccoon, by the way."

    "I'm a cat!" Grim protested.

    "Woah, it talks!"

So this was Earth to you, what you missed.

All Ace did was stand there, annoyed. These were the people you wanted to go back to. You looked so happy here- you didn't know you were in a dream.
