You ran through the pub and bumped into a couple of people here and there. They fussed and nagged but who cares, right? This meeting with Felix is SERIOUS! You need to get that map from that cat!

As you kept slipping your way through the place, you bumped into someone pretty hard. You and the person grunted and fell back from each other. Before you could fall, a certain red cup caught you.

”Ay! Watch where ya goin’, bub! I almost dropped this whole tray!” Cuphead exclaimed with an annoyed expression on his face. The cup was holding onto your clothing and the tray of alcoholic beverages for the next table. Whew, quick save for the both of you.

”Sorry ‘bout that, but I gotta meet with someone!—“ You spoke quickly but you were jerked back by a strong grip.

”WOAH WOAH WOAH! Sorry, but I can’t let you up there. Boss’ orders.” The cup says, pulling you back to him as he tried his best to balance the tray of drinks in his other hand.

Suddenly, you kicked him in the leg to release you.

Cuphead yelps in pain before snatching you closer to stop you from running away. ”UGH!— YOU DAMN CRANK! GET OVER HERE!!!”

A scared grin paints over your face. ”Jeez— didn’t realize the Ink & Paint had bouncers….” You laughed nervously. You were cooked. ”I didn’t know we needed one. Watcha doin’ skulkin’ around up here?”

“Uhhh… autographs from Felix?” You lied through your teeth.

”Ah, a SUPER fan.” Cuphead says with disgust in his tone. ”Out you go.” He picks you up from the floor and began to walk to towards the exit as your voice overlaps with something he’d least expect. ”Kick me out and I’ll tell everyone you don’t WORK HERE!”

“…

What are you talking about?….”

Cuphead’s voice darkened.
