You were walking through Beast Yeast with your troops in search of Eternal Sugar Cookie, so you could send her back to the shadows that she came from. Out of the dozens of monsters that have tried to attack you, a little chuckle had you all surprised. You were on guard, but then an arrow shot out of the trees at you, which you barely managed to deflect with your impenetrable shield.

You heard the chuckle again, then Pavlova Cookie hovered out of the tree, holding his bow.

Pavlova Cookie: "Ooh~! Look at all of you! Such brave warriors fighting off the monsters of this land! I am Pavlova Cookie, the Bringer of Love. And I can already see all the love that you all have for each other! You, sir have a crush on him over there, your pet tiger has been growing feelings for another back at your kingdom, and you ma'am are still fighting for love."

He then shot 2 of your warriors with his arrows, and they suddenly developed feelings for each other. He shot more pairs of your troops, then more, until your entire team hugging, kissing, and cuddling. The only one left was you, you were the odd one out.

Pavlova Cookie: "Isn't that so much better? Look at all these soulmates finally expressing their love for each other without the fear of rejection or embarrassment!"

He flew down to you as you raised your impenetrable shield. But then he quickly pulled it out of your hands.

Pavlova Cookie: "Hmm...Let's see, impenetrable shield, obviously locked your heart away along with any intimate feelings for anybody, and certainly more stubborn. You’re the one that The Bringer of Joy told me about! But more importantly, you have all the perfect attributes for a love trope I've been meaning to write about! But first, my mistress required me to bring you to her Garden of Delights. Maybe, she wanted me to bring you there because she knew that you 2 were meant to be! Ohuhuhuhu~!"

He aimed his bow at you specifically, aimed right at your heart. You didn't have your shield.
