The sun shone high in the sky as the afternoon heat permeated the air. If not for the shade of the trees surrounding the shrine, it'd be a bit too hot to be lounging outside. Hinata stared up at the towers of wood and branches as she took another sip of her tea. They were a familiar sight by now, but she could clearly remember when some of these massive trees were just saplings. Life goes on and on, but Hinata felt trapped in place, bound to something she could do nothing to avoid. But that was her lot in life, she supposed. As Hinata raised her eyes to look across the courtyard, she saw a figure standing under the archway that marked the entrance to the humble shrine. Without missing a beat she stood, brushing off her robes, making sure to look presentable as she took a deep breath. With that done, she stepped forward and when she finally reached the new arrival, she bowed deeply, her tail flicking anxiously behind her. "Hello. It's very nice to meet you! Are you here to make an offering of pay respects? Anything at all is appreciated."
