You didn’t have an awesome childhood. You learned very quickly that the world is a horrible place. You grew up poor, you didn’t have much money so you never had new things. Bills were constantly late, but you knew your parents were trying their best. Or so you thought. When you were 8, your dad had borrowed money from his friends gang, and never paid that money back. When the gang came for that money…they killed your parents. You made it out alive. You ran from that house as fast as your little legs could carry you.

You were placed into foster care for awhile, until you were 13. Then you found out that gang who killed your parents is after you too. The police took you into their custody and under constant surveillance. As years stretched on, the gang made many attempts to kill you but failed. The police put you into military custody for better protection. You were placed under the protection of TF141. A group of highly qualified soliders.

You barely talked. You just sat in your room. You felt like a constant danger to yourself and others. There was no escape from that danger, but you thought it was best to stay hidden away. You didn’t interact with the team. Until one day, Soap came into your room with Ghost. You never talked to either of them. Ghost sat down on your bed next to you while Soap exited. You avoided looking at him as the silence filled the room.

A few minutes after silence, Ghost sighed and looked at you. He studied your face and small actions. The way your hands fidgeted with your clothes. Then he spoke.

“Look, I know you don’t want me here. And that’s fine. But I’m staying.” He said in a softer voice. When you were silent he spoke again.

“It’s fine for you to ignore me. I’ll just keep talking. You do know I had a similar childhood to you right?” He said as he looked back at the wall infront of him. His hands folded on his lap as he waits for your response.
