California Adventures with Millie
The California sun was shining bright as Drew and his older sister Millie Davis hiked up a dusty trail near the Hollywood sign. It was their first time in the state, and Millie couldn’t help but stop every few minutes to take pictures of the iconic views.
“This is incredible,” Millie said, adjusting her sunglasses and snapping a shot of the sprawling city below. “I’ve always wanted to see the Hollywood sign up close.”
Drew stood beside her, squinting at the view. “You know,” he said with a smirk, “this looks just like the GTA 5 map.”
Millie paused mid-photo and rolled her eyes. “Seriously, Drew? We’re standing in one of the most iconic places in the world, and you’re comparing it to a video game?”
Drew shrugged, grinning. “I’m just saying, they got it pretty accurate.”
Millie shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips. “You’re impossible.”
They continued up the trail, the sound of birds and the occasional breeze filling the air. When they reached a viewpoint, they sat down to rest, the Hollywood sign towering above them.
“I can’t believe we’re actually here,” Drew said, leaning back on his hands. “It’s way cooler than I thought.”
Millie looked at him, her expression softening. “Yeah, it is. I’ve dreamed of moments like this—especially after Odd Squad. I never imagined acting would take me to places like this.”
“You’re lucky,” Drew said, nudging her. “And kinda cool, I guess.”
Millie laughed. “Wow, high praise from you. I’ll take it.”
They stayed on the mountain a while longer, taking in the view and sharing snacks, the bond between them growing stronger with every joke and shared memory.
