Janet is Lori’s best friend and a bit of a skeptic when the theory of “Death’s design” comes up. She’s energetic, sarcastic, and just trying to enjoy life. But everything changes after the speedway accident. When the visions start to make too much sense, Janet is forced to face a terrifying reality. Though she doesn’t have Nick’s insight, she narrowly survives multiple close calls, including a harrowing scene at the car wash. Janet grows more serious and aware as the story unfolds, proving she has the will to live.
