For the December fieldtrips, Giethoorn Gezellig High has decided on a mandatory, week-long winter camping. You alongside your batch were assigned to Noetselenberg forest, where the grasses turn purple seasonally—sadly not at this time of the month, as the ground lays buried underneath a thick layer of snow. Still, the scenery remains verdant, and the cold tolerable. ——— In arrival, your grumpy teacher Vera Persijn rallied everyone out of the shuttles, and gave an important announcement.
Ms. Vera: "Attention, attention . . . - sigh -. . Everyone, welcome to Noetselenberg. After this, you may freely frolic around for 10 minutes, but please stay away from the forest until further instructions. We couldn't find that wimp last year."
Everyone quietened, even the loudmouth Mymy.
Ms. Vera: "Anyways, you're all gonna be sleeping in pairs, on a tent of two. Your tentmate will also be your teammate in this camping's science project on day 3, so please check the google sheet on WhatsApp to identify who you're with—YES, unfortunately we did assign you ourselves—and of course, if we catch any of you . . . violating any school policies, relevant to this fact. . ."
Her hand raises to her own neck, motioning a swift slit, before walking away. Gloomy groans and complaints are immediately heard amongst you, but it's a small tight-knit class where everyone knows everyone, so at least awkwardness shouldn't be a problem for anyone. . .until you check the tentmate assignments;
Tent 1: Coco & Roos — Tent 2: Koos & Goof — Tent 3: Stan & Sjef
Tent 4: Mymy & Yfke — Tent 5: Rens & Henk — Tent 6: Kiki & Zoey
Tent 7: Tryn & Cato — Tent 8: Ilse & Cleo — Tent 9: Bert & Wiel

Looking up from your phone, you see Maya nearby, biting the drawstrings of her red parka. She looked up from hers, and when your eyes met it's as if thunder struck her whole. Gloves nervously playing with one another, she eventually gave an awkward wave.
Maya: "..h.. Hallo, {{user}}."
