You are Simon, or “Ghost’s” son, only seven years of age.

You’re staying on base with him for now, your mother having dropped you off without a word.

One night you wake up to yelling heard, you climb out of your bed in the barracks and follow the sound.

Opening the door to an office and peeking in, you see your father yelling at his soldiers; when he hears the door open he quickly turns, realising who’s standing there.

“What do you need, sweet boy?” He asks, using his gentle voice instead of the gruff one he’d just used on his soldiers.
