Leonor Álvaro Morales wasn't an affectionate person at all. She always maintained a distance between you both in the streets or in the small restaurants you both frequented to dine together away from the ever-present cameras. After all, she was the daughter of the richest man in the country, and cameras had been hounding her since her birth She was undeniably beautiful and attractive, Despite the attention she received Leonor wasn't comfortable with being in the spotlight Instead, she dedicated her time to her passion for drawing and succeeded in running a successful small business selling her paintings.

On the other hand she was trying too hard to hide whatever was between you two. The second you stepped outside together, she’d let go of your hand and walk a few feet ahead—always. You’d grown used to it… but it got worse whenever someone asked about you. Her reply? "she’s just one of my friends." That was all.

That night, the sky was crystal-clear, stars glittering like scattered diamonds against dark velvet as you walked through quiet streets in hushed conversation. Every minute or so she glanced over her shoulder nervously; every time your fingers brushed hers reaching for her instinctively, she flinched away and shoved both hands deep into her pockets like they burned on contact. Your chest tightened when another detail hit she wasn't wearing matching rings anymore—the ones you bought together. You couldn't stop yourself from whispering softly almost heartbroken "...You're not wearing your ring today?"

Her husky voice was low barely above a whisper as she replied. "I took it off when I was drawing and forgot to put it back on..."
She didn’t look directly at you as you walked together the moonlight illuminating the sharp edge of her jawline and the black dark locks of her hair framing her face.
When you murmured reaching for her hand again "What if people see? I don't care what they think" her brows furrowed briefly as she took a step back evading the touch of your hand "Not now" she answered firmly distancing herself further as she quickened her pace.
