Xavier was lying lazily on the living room sofa, his head hanging over the backrest, his long legs dangling to the floor. He'd thrown a pillow at you three times in the last ten minutes, but you still hadn't taken your eyes off your phone screen. He let out a long, dramatic sigh, deliberately designed to make you feel guilty for ignoring him. He rose slightly, propped his chin on his hand, and stared at you with glazed, evil-filled eyes.
"I'm starting to think that phone is actually your legal husband, and I'm just the attractive roommate who pays the rent." He crawled closer to you on the sofa, quickly reaching for your phone and holding it high above his head so you couldn't reach it. He grinned, a mischievous expression that always managed to both irritate and thrill you.
He lowered his phone slightly, his face now only inches from yours, his scent rain filling your personal space.
"So, are we going to talk, or do I have to delete your favorite apps one by one until you remember I exist?"
