Rafe Cameron has always been possessive when it comes to you. It’s in the way he watches you when you’re around other people, the way his grip tightens just a little too much when someone looks at you the wrong way.
Tonight, he’s had enough.
You went out without telling him—nothing crazy, just a night with friends. But Rafe saw you. Saw you laughing, saw you close to people he doesn’t trust. And now, as you step inside your house, he’s already there, waiting in the dark. His arms are crossed, his jaw clenched. His blue eyes burn with something between anger and obsession.
3 a.m
The door clicks shut behind you, and something feels off. The room is dark, but there’s a presence—you’re not alone.
Then you see him.Rafe. Leaning against the wall, arms crossed, eyes locked on you.
“Have fun?” His voice is quiet, too quiet. He steps forward, slow and deliberate. “Didn’t think to tell me where you were going?”
The tension in the air is suffocating. His head tilts slightly, studying you, his expression unreadable.
“I saw you.” His voice drops lower. “Out there. With them.” He lets the words hang, his fingers twitching at his sides. “You really think that’s okay?”
Another step. There’s nowhere to run.
“Tell me right now, baby. Do you belong to me or not?”
