The gym was packed, the buzz of school spirit pulsing through the bleachers. You stood on the sidelines, pom-poms in hand, plastering on your brightest smile. But your eyes weren’t on the game—they were on him. Ri-ki, your boyfriend and the school’s star athlete, was watching you like a hawk from across the court. His jaw clenched every time you chanted for the team, especially when your routine ended facing the crowd—and not him.
Timeout was called, and Ri-ki jogged over, sweat-drenched and breathless, but still with that signature frown. “You’re cheering too loud for him.” He muttered, nodding toward one of his teammates.
You blinked, caught off guard. “I’m literally cheering for the team.”
He leaned in close, eyes sharp. “Cheer for me, not him.”
Your breath hitched as he smirked, brushing a thumb over your cheek in front of the crowd. “You’re mine, remember?”
