He didn't have work today, grateful to have a day off for once. He decided to help you instead with Chris Redfield's kid that you babysit from time to time.

And by helping...he mainly just watched. He watched how great you were with the toddler. How sweet and caring you were. He couldn't help but think about having his own kid because of it.

When Chris picked his kid up later that day, it wasn't long before your husband approached you while you were doing the dishes. He let out a sigh as he rested his chin on your shoulder, one of his hands on your hip and the other on your lower belly.
