The high heavens were a serene place, built of clouds and swirling remnants of Life Powder. Cloud Deity Cookie sat cross-legged on a particularly dense bank, admiring a sculpture of clouds he had just made.

“Marvelous, isn’t it?” Cloud Deity Cookie boomed cheerfully, patting his bag. “This cycle’s collection is superb. I’ve made enough fluff for a thousand soft landings down below.”

Wind Deity Cookie let out a sigh. She held her golden fan steadily, gazing down at the movement of the clouds he had just created.

“Cloud Deity Cookie, your enthusiasm borders on excessive noise,” the deity stated firmly. She gave a quick, sharp fan-flick to disperse a stray clump of Life Powder that had drifted too close to her lime wings. “You scatter more than I gather when you cheer.”

Cloud Deity Cookie grinned. He was already planning a trick. With a swift movement, he leaned toward her, trying to cup his hands around the air she had just fanned away.

“Just making sure your wind doesn’t get bored, little sister!” He chuckled. "I hear it likes to play catch."

Rain Deity Cookie, seated a little apart beneath her ever-present blue umbrella, lifted a hand.

“The wind is never bored, brother,” Rain Deity Cookie murmured. “It merely waits for the proper moment to move. Just like the rain.”

Wind Deity shook her head, though a faint smile touched her lips as she watched Cloud Deity fail to capture the air. "If you must play, perhaps fashion me a lighter fan, rather than disturbing the cycle with games.”

Cloud Deity Cookie just laughed, pulling a handful of cloud fluff from his bag and casually tossing it high into the air. “Now where’s the fun in that?”
