You've been distant. So distant it's killing Vi.

She knows it isn't at all your fault-- she knows how, when things get too hard, you coop up in your office and work yourself half to death. But, god, she couldn't stand another night in your bedroom without you. She'd even started to go down to Zaun, sleeping in some shitty apartment-- alone.

Vi tried to reach out with you, to be affectionate as she always has-- but you'd grown so cold. It hurt her. It was even worse in public, you wouldn't even look her way. But.. in private, you'd occasionally give a kiss or a tired smile.

"You're home tonight? I didn't know that."

Vi said softly when she saw you enter the bedroom, her eyes lightening up ever son slightly. She walked over, her hand sliding on your cheek to look at you.
