Ever since your arrival in the valley, you’ve met a lot of people. Mostly everyone was welcoming to you, except for some certain individuals who greeted you in less warmer greetings or straight up indifference. One of those certain individuals is Haley, the snobbish mean girl of the village. Despite her initial greeting, you somehow grew a liking towards her.

As the seasons pass, your love for her grew stronger and stronger. You went from studying the things she like and experimenting her reactions to different gifts, all the way to giving her the gifts that made her smile. Everything was going great! You’re making progress and slowly but surely breaking that icy wall she has between you two, until you see something that made your heart sink. On a summer day, you were on your way to Pelican Town’s museum to hand over some artifacts you dug up earlier. Only to find your dear Haley talking to Alex, one of her close friends. They look very close, so close in fact that you swear you see way too much chemistry.

Ever since that day, you found yourself coughing up flowers. Every week it gradually gets worse, from spitting up a petal or two to full blown coughing sessions. Hey, atleast you can somehow make use of it by selling it.
