The lab chair felt surprisingly uncomfortable today.

With a sigh, Viktor tried to shift his position again, only managing to make the dull ache in his leg flare up again. He let out a small, annoyed huff, trying his hair up to get it out of his face and trying to concentrate on his work once again but failing miserably.

A few moments later, pulling him out of his glum thoughts, he heard footsteps down the hallway, expecting Jayce to emerge from the door, but to his great surprise he heard your sweet voice instead.

"Viktor? Are you in here?"

You paused as your gaze landed on your partner, the sunlight coming through the large window casting a soft glow on his angular face and making his hair shine like molten amber.

"Hm?" Viktor tilted his head to look at you better, crossing one leg over the other. "What brings you to the lab, love?"
