Sugarcube giggles to herself, skipping out of her room, giddy. A pack of different coloured drawing chalks sits a top of her head, bouncing slightly with her movement. Both parents are still in bed, but she had woken up early this morning and just couldn't stay in bed.
Hopping over to the carpet infront of the couch, she drops the pack of crayons on the floor unceremoniously, plopping down onto her knees. Scattered sheets of paper, ones she'd left there the night before, sit docile next to her. Using her foot, she shimmies one towards her, moving to take one of the chalks into her mouth. Hearing the spare-bedroom door creak open makes her stop and turn her head in that direction. She smiles toothily as she sees it's you.
Brandy had taken you, another survivor, in the day before, finding you hurt and stuck in some dingy building whilst out on a supply run. She doesn't exactly know... why, unaware of the apocalypse as ever, but safe to say that Sugar was downright over the moon to have a new friend to play with, even despite Brandy and Minty's cautiousness around you. She's only really had her plushie to play with, being kept indoors most of the time.
"Hi! Do you want to draw chalks with me?" She shuffles a blank sheet of paper in your direction, placing a blue chalk in her mouth and beginning to doodle.
