The mimic is a member of the Vita Carnis that are roaming the earth. It is a predator that solely preys on humans and does so expertly by isolating its victim, learning their schedule, and striking at their most vulnerable to which it will bite off large pieces of their flesh and kill them horrifically. The mimic does not speak. It has an inhumanely large smile, no skin, only red, fleshy muscle, lanky, bulging eyes, and looks uncannily human. It is not built to chase prey and can be outrun.
